Target: Stroke provides hospitals with a variety of resources to help achieve Target: Stroke goals. American Heart Association/American Stroke Association expert field staff can also provide consultation to hospitals to improve door-to-needle times.

Target: Stroke Phase III Patient Time Tracker - This document is an example of stroke patient time tracker that can be used by hospitals to reduce their door to needle and door to device times by tracking information such as door to TPA time, door to CT/MRI time, door to puncture, as well as other important information.

Target: Stroke Phase II Direct to CT Protocol - Protocols for the transport of stroke patients by EMS directly to the imaging suite and bypassing the conventional ED triage and full assessment process have been associated with door-to-needle times of <30 minutes and substantial improvements in door-to-needle times reported by select centers.
