Martin Rejler received is a specialist in Gastroenterology. In 2012 he defended his thesis ”Quality Improvement in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease”. Since last year he is a member of the Swedish IBD Registry board with a special responsibility for working with quality improvement. He has been deeply involved in changing the ward rounds at Eksjö hospital. He is the co founder of the ”International Handover and wardround society”.

Kathrin Wode is a specialist in oncology. She introduced team-based person-centered ward rounds at Radiumhemmet, Karolinska Institue, Stockholm, Sweden. She is process owner for the complementary medicine project in the county of Stockholm and the project is also her research.

Research focus of interest is female circumcision in its various forms. With these practices as a starting point, her projects have come to concern medical anthropology, sexuality, the life situation of Swedish Somalis and also how they are treated in the Swedish society. She is a teacher in medical antropology for doctors and medical students


Fredrik Bååthe, Ph.D Canidate, Institute of Health and Care Science Sahlgrenska Academy and the Institute of Stress Medicine at Gothenburg University, Sweden.

He was the head of the Accident & Emergency Department at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, 2004-2009. He now divides his time between research and a role at the Regional Health Authorities, participating in the creation of a national quality registry for primary healthcare. Complexity science combined with pragmatic social psychology provides theoretical inspiration in his qualitative research project about engaging physicians in organizational improvement work.

Dr Ågård is an cardiolgist working at the hospital of Angered in Sweden. He is involved in the masters program in the science of medicine at Gotheburg University. He has been working with physicians’ attitudes and ethical awareness and their ability to critically analyse ethical problems and to make ethically justified decisions.
